BREEAM (Building Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Method) is the world’s leading and most widely used environmental assessment method for buildings. BREEAM New Construction is a performance based assessment method and certification scheme for new buildings, the primary aim of which is to mitigate the life cycle impacts of new buildings on the environment in a robust and cost effective manner.

IB Project Management, as a previously Licensed Assessor company for New Construction non domestic projects, are suitably placed to produce Building User Guides for Principal Contractors wishing to achieve additional points towards meeting their accreditation needs.

This element, along with Home User Guides to help meet the requirements for Code for Sustainable Homes, is a natural extension to the work IBPM carries out producing Health & Safety Files and Operation & Maintenance Manuals for Principal Contractors.
